The Artist

Jordan Lozoya

Graduating from Arizona State School of Nursing did not make me an Artist. However, I jumped at any chance to take art electives throughout my academic years. Woodworking and pottery were my favorites.

During the pandemic I wanted to create artwork influenced by nature. The goal was to mimic the effects of proven holistic theory that nature present in healthcare facilities promoted faster healing, reduced stress, and had positive effects on mental health.  Nervously, I posted a photo of one piece to social media and was surprised by a purchase offer.

RESOL followed shortly after.

The Inspiration

Living on the west coast over 10 years had the greatest impact on my personal style. From the grain texture of Arizona sandstone to the worn towering boulders lining the southern California coastlines.

Neutral colors of desert and coast combined with admiration of innovative minimalist architecture with a slight Los Angeles flair are elements found throughout my work.

Each design is curated with the innate desire to blur the line between doorstep and terrain.

The Designs

Mastery of a multidisciplinary skill set favoring concrete, resin, glass, and genuine minerals allow me to bridge imagination and tangibility.

Each design is meticulously hand crafted to an original piece.  There is no way to perfectly duplicate finished works making their value not 'one in a million' but rather 'one of a kind'.
